We'll line the public sidewalks of Broadway,. We have some signs to share and encourage folks to make their own creative message signs. Please stop by the Reception Canopy on the west-side of Broadway at 39th for information or to pick-up a sign (until gone)!

We are joining with national Indivisible groups in supporting Martin Luther King Weekend - Help Over Hate events, and hosting a canned food drive in conjunction with the People's March - Everett Sign Waving Rally. Please bring non-perishable food to the Reception Canopy at 39th/Broadway for donation to a local Food Bank.

If you believe that decisions about your body should remain yours, that books belong in libraries, not on bonfires, that healthcare is a right, not a privilege for the wealthy; if you believe in the power of free speech and protest to sustain democracy; or if you want an economy that works for the people who power it—then this event is for you.

The People’s March is about one thing: our power.

It’s a bold demonstration of the resilience of resistance:

We rally to unite the people who’ve been the backbone of resistance for generations—and to welcome even more
We rally to remind civil servants they answer to us
We rally to inspire, energize, and drive change long after the day is done.

This is our moment to remind Washington elites — and Americans everywhere — where the power truly lives: with the people.

There is work ahead, but on this day, we will stand in unity as a community for the people. Please join us to stand together and make some noise. After the event - please check out Snohomish County Indivisible at www.snocoindivisible.org and join us for in-person meetings to build a stronger and more resilient community for all people, especially our most vulnerable marginalized members. We have a women's issues committee, as well as committees against gun violence and an environmental/climate committee. We welcome everyone!
