Introducing our first annual Signature VCO Ontario Viper Event

ONVE 2021 - Windsor & Surrounding Area!

Join us for this exciting 4-day event, or any part of it that you can! The main events are on Saturday and Sunday. Each day will be a lot of fun and give you the opportunity to meet other passionate Viper club members!

Friday we will meet at our host hotel just south of London, the Best Western Plus, Stoneridge Inn. We'll have a local Meet & Greet and dinner there for all members who would like to come out to join us! The hotel has an expansive parking lot and a very nice Italian restaurant.

Saturday will be a cruise day from London to Windsor. We'll start meeting at 9:00-9:30 am and depart at 10 along Hwy 2 where we'll stop at the famous Parks Blueberries, and then follow the Thames River into Chatham for lunch where we'll meet up with more members joining us from that area and beyond. From there we'll continue along Hwy 2 before taking some shoreline roads next to Lake St. Clair through Belle River and make our way into Windsor. We'll check into our Windsor host hotel, the Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel-Downtown Windsor. Parking costs $15/day, and the club is paying for nighttime parking security to ensure our babies are safe! Saturday evening we'll have dinner at Fourteen Restaurant & Sky Lounge followed by a relaxing boat cruise on the Macassa Bay with Windsor Premier Cruises on the Detroit River at 7 pm where we'll enjoy the illuminated cityscapes of both Windsor and Detroit until 10 pm! The Boat Cruise ticket reduced VCO cost is $44.99 plus HST. The member's ticket is paid for, courtesy of our event sponsor, Wellington Chrysler!

Sunday will feature a morning photo shoot with the Detroit skyline as a backdrop, a scenic Viper cruise along the Detroit River through wine country and along the northern shore of Lake Erie. Along the way we will take a tour of the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village near Kingsville, one of the largest transportation museums in Ontario, where we will have lunch at their 50’s style nostalgic diner. We'll also tour the GL Heritage Brewery and Viewpoint Winery. And on the return cruise we'll stop in Amherstburg for a little shopping and a nice dinner. The evening is yours after we return from dinner around 9 ish, and then maybe try our luck a Caesars Casino!

Monday after breakfast we bid farewell to Windsor and cruise off in convoys heading towards home, taking with us a lot of great memories!

Oh yes, and we'll have an exclusive look at the upcoming 2022 Maserati MC20 which could be the platform that the next Gen Viper could be built on!

In addition to making room reservations and parking arrangements at our two hotels, we also need to plan for several restaurants, the boat cruise, and a winery. We will need you to tell us which days and events you will be attending.

So please check your calendar early to make your plans to attend, and let this event's organizer, Bruce Hadfield, know what that will be.
