The URC Storeroom Steal FREE SHOE Giveaway

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we’ll be giving out a free pair of shoes to a member of the Charlotte community. No cost, no purchase necessary, and no catches…just a request to help us spread the love and to support others.

Here’s how the URC Storeroom Steal works:

Each day will have a theme, which we’ll post on our social media channels. You can find out what the theme of the day is by following us on Facebook or Instagram. Your challenge will be to take these two steps:

1) Like and share the post so your friends can participate as well

2) Post a picture or video of yourself visiting the place or doing the activity specified, along with the tag #StoreroomSteal

While the individual challenges will vary, Fridays will have a set theme:

Friday: Our Favorite Stupid Human Tricks (photo submission period: Friday-Sunday)

Each contest will run for three days, after which we’ll compile all the submitted pictures and choose a winner at random. That winner will get a free pair of shoes from our storeroom.

Second Chance Giveaway: For more fun, we’ll raffle off any unclaimed prizes to everyone who liked or shared our posts throughout the month. TRUTH: Even if you don’t complete a single challenge, hitting that heart or thumbs up button makes it easier for your friends to win AND means you’ll increase your chance of winning – so be sure to follow along and pay it forward!

What’s The Catch? You may be wondering why we are doing this and asking how we can do this. That’s because you’re very smart, and there’s generally a catch with this sort of thing. Well, in this case, there is and there isn’t.

We’re doing this to have fun and get some much-needed love and excitement out into the world. We’re also doing it because our honest to goodness physical storeroom is really full of past season product, and we can. While these are amazing products that retailed for as much as $170 EACH during their prime, contest shoes are NOT the shoes we are currently displaying on our walls here at the store. They’re older models that remain great for running, walking, standing around, mowing the lawn and shopping (among other things), but we’re not giving you carte blanche to the store.

If you win we’ll reach out to you on the social media platform you submitted through, we’ll give you a week to respond and do our best to respect your size and application preferences…but we don’t guarantee it. We do guarantee if we don’t have the perfect shoes for you, we’ll work with you to find something for your spouse. Or your kids. Or your brother-in-law George. If you take it in the spirit we intend, you’ll be really happy and better off than you were before you started following us on social media.
